Shivers Event Team News

Will has gained a place on Horse Scotland eventing performance squad

Posted on 3rd February 2012

The team are happy to announce that Will has been accepted onto the Horse Scotland Eventing performance squad which is the equivalent of England's world class performance squad. In November he made the trip back home to a selection day with Manor where he had to show his flatwork and jumping ability followed by an intense interview. The last part was relatively easy as we all know how good he is about talking about himself! It will give Will some very important funding for training and an opportunity to get some great advice from experts so we are all really pleased that the shivers team have managed to give him such a good platform for the future!

Great time had by all at the recent Clinic

Posted on 6th November 2011

The team had a fantastic time teaching at Netherton Park, Morpeth on 5th November.  There were all levels attending from baby horses, nervous jockies to experienced event horses and riders.  We did some flatwork sessions in the morning and jumping sessions in the afternoon to accomodate everyone and we were joined by Emma Hawksby who taught our last group and will join our next clinic to teach as well.  Our next Clinic will be 3rd and 4th December to accomodate demand and allow us to create some children specific groups.  This clinic and our new year clinics will make great presents for the riders in your family so get in touch.  Thank you to Julie Holliday for her fantastic pictures once again.
